Independent Project 1: Spooky Themed

1. What did you pick to do your project on? Explain why you chose it. I decided to do my project spooky themed because it's October and I feel like these fit the theme of Halloween and Fall.

2. What did you do to get the image? Explain. I photoshopped some of the images and some are just straight from the pictures I took.

3. What editing did you have to do to your images? Explain why they needed that kind of editing. I had to photoshop some layers of muscle and bones to make the pictures spooky.

4. What did you learn about this kind of photography by shooting it? Explain. I had to deal with a lot of lighting and fixing the lighting and how to properly photoshop

5. Was there anything you found difficult about creating these images? Explain why. Kind of. It was hard to photoshop the images and blend them in at times.

6. How do you think they came out overall? Could they be better? Why? Explain it. I think they came out okay. I feel some of the images were pretty rushed but overall they weren't too bad.

7. What are you thinking about doing for your next independent project? Explain your idea.

1. What did you pick to do your project on? Explain why you chose it. I Chose portraits because i had extra pictures left over and decided that it would be a simple project.

2. What did you do to get the image? Explain. All i did was have her pose and i took the picture at different angles and lighting.

3. What editing did you have to do to your images? Explain why they needed that kind of editing. I just had to fix the lighting a bit but other than that there wasn't a lot of editing i had to do.

4. What did you learn about this kind of photography by shooting it? Explain. I learned that with natural light the lighting changes quickly.

5. Was there anything you found difficult about creating these images? Explain why. I think it was just the lighting changing i had to work sort of fast with it.

6. How do you think they came out overall? Could they be better? Why? Explain it. I think i could've shot her in different poses and that possibly could've made the pictures better.

Project: 5 Flash Lighting

1. What did you pick to do your project on? Explain why you chose it. We did a project on flash lighting.

2. What did you do to get the image? Explain. We added colored lights and used the flash box in order to take the pictures,

3. What editing did you have to do to your images? Explain why they needed that kind of editing. I didn't edit these because I thought these looked good the way they were.

4. What did you learn about this kind of photography by shooting it? Explain. I learned that you really have to play with the lighting.

5. Was there anything you found difficult about creating these images? Explain why. Using the flash box was a little difficult because I had to adjust the camera at the same time so they would look good.

6. How do you think they came out overall? Could they be better? Why? Explain it. I think they came out pretty good I just wish that we would've had more time to shoot.

7. What are you thinking about doing for your next independent project? Explain your idea. For my next project I'm planning on doing a look inspired by this music video and it's kind of dark and cool.
